Q: Did you get your blog name from Jay-Z?

A: Part I of this answer is here.  But, yes, the blog name was partially inspired “you need more people” from “Takeover,” Jay-Z’s epic diss of Mobb Deep.  The infamous line: “Then you dropped ‘Shook Ones,’ switch your demeanor. Well we don’t believe you, you need more people” was the origin of the blog name.

Q: How often do you update?

A: Once or twice a week.  Or if I get lazy during the week.  Or Comcast decides it doesn’t want to cooperate.

Q: Are you on Facebook?

A: Not yet.  I Am Your People is a one woman operation, and between the blog and the 9-to-5, there aren’t enough hours in the day.  Hit me on Twitter!

Q: What’s with the janky “No Categories” link in the header?

A: It came with the theme. I can’t get rid of it without paying $49.95. That’s not happening.
